Our Criteria for tutors
To join our team of specialist tutors, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- Have an enhanced DBS certificate (this can be applied for through Friendly Tutors Online if you do not already have one)
- Be specialist in the subject you teach.
- Have extensive knowledge and current experience with the National Curriculum.
- Be committed to tutoring long term (minimum of 1 academic year).
- Be eligible to work in the UK. (Unfortunately, Students on a Tier 4 or Tier 2 UK Visa do not have the right to work).
If you feel you have what it takes to be a Friendly Tutor, please complete our online application form. Once this has been reviewed and you have passed the initial screening, you will receive an invitation to complete your registration and profile. It is easy and fast to register.
